What do you want to do and where do you want to do it?
Background: We
have been learning about salary, pay checks, and deductions. Federal
Income Tax, State Income Tax, Social Security, Medicare, Health Insurance
premiums are all recipients of money that we make. These deductions
affect the amount of money that is brought home. Similarly, location
affects costs. It affects how salary as well as the costs of living.
Purpose:
The purpose of this lab is to explore your options for the
future and to gather information for projections we will make later in the
year.
Procedures: Use some of the following websites to research potential positions, salaries, and locations where you might like to work. Write what you discover in the Career Location Worksheet and Table.
