Congratulations to all new members of the Spanish Honor Society. Your scholastic achievements and dedication to helping those less-fortunate is commendable. Together, this group has the power to encourage great change—especially in the lives of children in need.

Evan Gagnon Memorial Scholarship Dinner Info

The Evan Gagnon Memorial Scholarship Dinner will be held on Friday, May 22nd in the PHS Cafeteria. The menu includes a pasta supper, salad, bread, light dessert, and beverages. All are welcome and tickets are available in student lunch waves, through Spanish Honor Society Members, and are also avaliable at the door. The price is $10 per person and children under 10 are free. This event will take place from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Come any time during those hours. Please use the rear entrance to the cafeteria. Donations are welcome and much appreciated! Thank you and we hope to see you there.

All SHS Members must have their tickets in by Monday, May 18th. If you need more tickets, see Sra. Gagnon.

General Reminders

• Tutoring is a great tool to students interested in bettering their Spanish skills. Members, if you are assigned a tutee, you must show up for ALL tutoring sessions. If your tutee does not show up, please make a note of it. If the tutee does not show up three times, he or she will be dropped from the tutoring program. All tutoring takes place in the AP room. Be sure to fill out a tutoring log and turn in your hours in room 309. Also, you must make Sra. Gagnon aware of any changes made! Be sure to get your tutee’s e-mail for direct contact purposes!
