
The impact of the Industrial Revolution has been double-edged in most regards; however, in the case of the environment there is little doubt that more harm has been done than good. By making it so possible for human population to increase, and by creating an insatiable demand for raw materials, industrial life has seriously damaged the earth. The story is on-going and worsening-- the effects of global warming are one example of potential disaster.
